Happy Birthday, Hayden!
Yesterday was Hayden's 4th birthday! Its hard to believe that when we moved into our current house he was just beginning to walk and we celebrated his 1st birthday. We had lots of fun yesterday celebrating. We began by eating lunch at TGI Fridays and the waiters sang to him and brought balloons & ice cream. I saw him turn a slight shade of pink! Then, we headed over to his cousins' house for lots of playtime and a sleepover. He opened presents, ate his cookie cake, played outside, watched a movie with an endless supply of popcorn and then slept in his new sleeping bag. We concluded his celebration this morning by taking cupcakes to his school for all his friends - what a mess but they had fun! The kids had cupcakes all over everything - I'm sure the mommies loved me today, lol.
Hayden - oh, where do I begin? When daddy and I think of you - we think funny! You make us laugh with the things you do and say on a daily basis. I really could right a book. You are very witty and smart for your age. You're following in your brothers footsteps and enjoying playing baseball right now. You love to play outside, play your gameboy, ride on the skateboard, go to your brothers games, visit Ft. Smith, ride your bike, play dress up, swing, and the list goes on. You are very sweet to your brother and sister (most of the time!) You are beginning to show signs of emotion that you have never shown before. I think you are growing up! Let's see... foods you like to eat are cheese, cheese and more cheese! Your lunch request is usually "a cheese sandwich with no bread, grapes, & cheetos... and that will be all." lol You also enjoy chocolate - you get that from your mommy! You have a hard time waking up in the mornings and you still sleep with your "BB"(red, blue, white and yellow checked blanket.) You won't go to sleep without some form of night light as you are afraid of the dark as well. You know how to spell your name and write the letters of your name (although not in order yet...)
There are a million other things I could write, but the clock is ticking and we have to be at a baseball game. Your sister is screaming and none of you have had dinner yet. I better get going!
My sister is requesting baseball pictures. I'll try to see what I can get this weekend.... Sorry its taking so long.

Whew - where does the time go?
I haven't written as much lately - I guess you can say we have been very busy! We have found out it is a lot of work to move overseas. We have been getting copies of all of our medical records - from all the different doctors. We've had our pictures made and submitted all the information for our new passports - even baby Jordyn will have one! We've had shots (and still need a couple more) and have met with the "board" who medically signed off on all of our stuff and gave us the go ahead with getting Matt's orders cut. On top of trying to get that done, we've tried to keep our house picked up and clean in case anyone wants to see it. This is a difficult feat with three small children! lol
Baseball has begun and both boys are practicing twice a week, plus games have officially started. The opening ceremonies got rained out, but the games have begun and Landen plays his first league game on Monday night. Haydens first game is on Friday night - you can expect I'll have my video camera at that one. His team is going to be the Dodgers and Landen is on the Phillies playing short stop.
Well, today we've been to early church where Jordyn cried in the nursery once again and I got called out of church. She is not doing well being away from mommy and daddy on Sunday mornings. As soon as I got her she started smiling and laughing. Other than that though, she has turned back into happy Jordyn - yeah!!! I missed her 6 month update last week but she is sitting up great and is even already figuring out how to get her belly off the floor and up on her hands and knees! She will be crawling within a few weeks - I am afraid. I was hoping for a baby who would be slow to get moving - oh well. She still doesn't have any teeth and the swing has about come to an end because she sits forward and stops herself by grabbing the poles. Times are a changing!
Right now we are wasting time - we have the house all clean and ready for an open house today. We'll see if we have any lookers - at least we have a clean house and cut grass and it is sunny outside today if nobody shows. We are ready for the warmth to return.
Have a good week!

Easter!
We had a great time in Fort Smith for Easter. It was a bit on the chilly side, but we figure we better get used to that since we are moving to Germany. The kids had fun coloring easter eggs, hunting easter eggs, eating, opening presents and playing with their cousins. Enjoy the Slide Show.

It's Official...
We met with our realtor this morning and our house is officially for sale! Any takers? Whew... it's hard to believe. We spent all weekend cleaning baseboards, floors, painting the garage, working in the yard, you name it. We got almost everything done that we wanted to, but still lack a couple of things we plan to finish this week. Now, how do you manage to keep it clean and clutter free with 3 kids?? ha!
Well, I'm off to Hayden's Easter party at school. I'll post some pictures of it soon.
