Well, daddy has been gone and of course the house is falling apart. The boys are really, really missing him more than they usually do. To add to that, Landen has had a migraine (bad one!), Hayden has run 103 fever plus coughing (didn't go to MDO today), Landen began running a fever last night but seemed ok this morning (he's still coughing though), and now I feel like I have fever and am coughing. The only one that seems to be perfectly fine is Jordyn! Hopefully she continues to feel good and the rest of us will feel better. My parents have been here all weekend so that has helped me out. This week we've got baseball camp (Landen) and swimming lessons as usual. It should be a fun week! Here's a few new pics of Jordyn.... We put her in the exersaucer for the first time and she seemed to enjoy it. I'm running out of room in my house for all her toys!

Celebrate!
We have lots of birthdays to celebrate this week. Happy Birthday Daddy (today!), Pawpaw (26th), Nicholas (27th) & Uncle Steve (30th). We love you all and hope you have a great one! I won't mention your ages, ha...
Daddy is gone today as he always seems to be on his birthday. I think he plans that! He has gone to New Jersey for a couple of weeks, but will be back soon. We already miss you, daddy.
Happy 33rd...

Not a lot going on...
The weather has been dreary and we haven't managed to get out much this week. So, there's not much to report. Landen did great on his report card - he got all A's and his first B (it was almost an A). It was bound to happen sometime, ha! We thought he would get a check mark for talking, but he managed to escape that one this 9 weeks. His teacher is pretty strict compared to his teachers the last two years. He also got selected to be tested for Alpha next year. He is currently in "Discovery", but it changes to "Alpha" in 3rd grade. I guess its equivalent to what we called "GATE" or "Enrichment" when I was in school.
Here's a picture of Jordyn playing with Landen and reading the paper with Daddy. She looks quite interested, huh? She's babbling more and more and still loves to swing almost all day long. Oh, I took her to the doctor last week because I thought she might have an ear infection and she weighed 14 lbs 1 oz. She's almost doubled her birth weight! Oh, and it was a false alarm. Her ears were just fine. :-)

Weekend and Move Update....
We headed to Ft. Smith for the weekend and had a great trip. We ran around from place to place and of course the weekend flew right by. There are so many people we would love to go visit with everytime we go, but we just can't seem to get every place we would like to. We are going to try to make an effort to go a little more often these next few months since we think we are moving this summer..... Speaking of moving, I won't go into a long explanation, but we still have no idea where/when we are moving (several of you have been asking us if we found out anything). Matt was notified on Friday that all moves are being "frozen" right now due to budgeting and moves will be classified as crucial/non crucial. So, as of now, we have no idea whats going on and we normally would know by now. We'll keep you posted as soon as we find out something ourselves. You never know, we may be here another year!
Here's a picture of Hayden & Jordyn all bundled up last week to walk to the bus stop to get Landen. He has begged for 2 years to ride the bus, so this year I finally gave in and he gets to ride it home. I still take him in the mornings!

Jordyn Elizabeth is 3 months old tomorrow!
I know I already made a post today, but tomorrow Jordyn will be 3 months old and I doubt I get a post in with it being the weekend. So, I decided to go ahead and make another entry. Jordyn is busy smiling most of the time. She loves to play on her gym mat and look at her mobile. Right now, she is not too sure about her new Bumbo seat, but I am confident it will grow on her. She has also discovered her hands and that she can do amazing things with them such as hit at toys and suck on them. She continues to LOVE her swing and will spend countless hours in it. I am still nursing her, but she has learned how to take a bottle and gotten really good at it. This allows mommy to be away from her every once in a while without worry that she won't eat. :-) She has also begun to suck on her pacifier! I am hoping that she continues to enjoy it, although I know I'll be regretting giving it to her when its time to break her of the habit. The boys just hug and kiss on her all day long. They really love their little sister and so do we. We love you Jordyn and can't imagine life without you! Happy 3 months.
Kodie
The boys started swimming lessons on Tuesday and they both love it. Landen is working on his breathing and back stroke and Hayden is working on his freestyle. They are both doing an excellent job and by the end of the month should complete the level they are on. I took my camera to snap some pictures, but I forgot the memory card! Oops. I'll take it again next week and post some pictures of them. We are just spending the week trying to get back into routine after all of the hoopla of the holidays.
Jordyn was really fussy yesterday afternoon and she has been getting up again at night (since we went to FS). Hopefully today she will be "happy" Jordyn like she normally is. She is full of smiles this morning. Here is a picture of Jordyn looking at Kodie. She is beginning to notice her more and more... Kodie is such a good dog. I can't believe she is 10 years old!

Happy New Year!
We had a memorable New Years Eve at our house. We lost power about 8:00 pm and it didn't come back on until about 10:45 pm. So, we spent the evening playing with flashlights (which the boys loved), sitting by the fire, and moving through the house by candlelight. Aunt Terri was here to spend it with us which made it even more memorable. I'm posting some pictures of us playing in the dark. There's one of Landen making shadows on the wall which he was quite good at doing. Daddy also bet Landen $10 that he couldn't stay awake until midnight. Well, guess what? Daddy had to pay up. Way to go Landen! On another note, we had to tell Aunt Terri bye today as she is flying back to California. We wont get to see her again for a long time and we already miss her. Good luck job hunting, Terri!
Grammar
I was notified by my parents and sister of a few grammatical errors in my typing. I will apologize in advance for all future mistakes that will probably not be corrected. Please try to overlook them and enjoy the updates.....:-)
